A Brief Professional Biography
I received my undergraduate degree from George Washington University and my JD from Washington College of Law, American University (both in Washington D.C.). I was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1995 and the District of Columbia Bar about one year later. I was admitted to the Idaho Bar in 1998 and moved to Idaho in 1999 with my husband who grew up in Pocatello. Prior to moving to Idaho I worked for Neighborhood Legal Services and the District of Columbia Office of Bar Counsel.
Since early in 1999, I have been in private practice. I opened my own law office in July 2000. I practice in the area of family law (divorces, adoptions, guardianships and custody disputes). I have provided volunteer representation for the Guardian Ad Litem in Child Protective Act cases. I am a member of the Board of Directors for the ACLU Idaho, a member of the family law sections of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association.
